There is the possibility of doing more than 200 miles through woods, meadows and vineyards by marked trails.

On foot, by bicycle, by car or by the longest funicular in Europe, you can reach the tip of the Mendola. The funicular is only 5 minutes from home. The canyon between the castle and the lake is called Rastenbachklamm. It takes you 2 hours.

The famous Rosengarten in the Dolomites, offers a challenge for mountain hikers. In winter, the nearby ski slopes, which are reached by car or bus, offer many opportunities for fun.
